True. And he did mention that butterfly bolts would be entirely sufficient for a 32" TV if I got at least some of the mount into a stud and used butterfly bolts for the rest.
That said, I do have a swivel base and I can scoot the bookcase out away from the wall a bit, so I may not need a wall mount at all, which would be ideal. It's not like I plan on watching a lot of TV there. Just the occasional show.
