Surely, for a price, it will be possible.
I am wondering the same thing for, err, grey market import of the laser lights to the US.
Considering an X6 LED retrofit costs somewhere in the $7k range, I'd imagine a laser light retrofit to be more than that.
The only thing I don't like is that the laser is for high beams only. So with most regular driving, you don't get that cool double U light signature I really like on the i8. Wish it wasn't so.
Did you see the interior shots in that thread while they were driving the i8? The ambience lighting and LED strips around the cockpit that envelope the driver are gorgeous. It's like something out of TRON.
