You’re on the right track with the M2 and M4. Those, along with the M240i Coupe (and I think the convertible too, not 100% sure) and 440i Coupe, will be BMW’s last remaining gasoline I6 powered vehicles with manual transmissions once the current 3 Series and M3 end production in October.

These, however, are all in the last half of their lifespans and use what are now legacy engines.

The B58TU will soon replace the original B58 and the S58 will soon replace the S55. There is no evidence of a manual transmission paired with the B58 TU, including not in the G20 M340i nor the G29 Z4 40i/M40i. There is a tiny chance it could happen in the G42 M240i and/or G22 M440i, but I would suggest that is unlikely. There is, however, a very good chance the S58 will get a manual transmission in the G8x M2, and it is still very possible the same could happen for the G80 M3 and G82 M4.

What this could mean, in a highly speculative context mind you, is that a Supra with a manual transmission would be a Supra with an S58. Frankly I think that combo, should it come to market, would be what could save this vehicle from ending up a footnote in the history books.
