I have seen an M5 post about changing the code to turn the ASD sound off
Does anyone have an idea on who can do this.. Is there a code genius out there that can help me?
Warning: I have NOT tried this.

The tech documentation I've read states that if the audio system detects a fault with any of the speakers, then the artificial engine noise will be shut off. So, that leads me to believe that if you unplugged any of the speakers, then the system would shut off.

I own no garage queens. If it's in my driveway, it's been ridden hard and put away wet. ...and now, with a light crust of Maine road salt.
