To your point about it be depressing, I feel that way at some of the lower-tier properties. But, if you stay at the Wynn, Venetian / Palazzo, Aria, Cosmo, or Bellagion, you avoid a lot of that stuff... |
I've not been to a lot of shows there (just 1 in fact - but it was good). I'm not much of a nightclubber (nearly 50) but did go to Hells Kitchen with my parents when they came up from NZ last year. The people watching is amusing at times, or depressing - depends on the venue as you say. Even some of the high end properties there's still people in wife-beaters and flipflops with a cigarette in their mouths - puts me off. I guess I expected Monaco, and was horribly disappointed.
I guess there's not a lot there for me other than shows and restaurants, but I can see why others enjoy it.
