Glad your trip was uneventful. I once did a Phoenix to Miami trip when I bought a car out there, and I-10 through Texas is brutal. It never ends, but driving at night with the top down and seeing the stars was cool.
I agree that once you go over the Florida border, the covid fear is real. And those states with all the mask and vaccine mandates are still getting hammered with covid.
