Because the franchise value is worth north of $3.5 billion and rapidly increasing with their new found success. Whatever his investment is in the team it's likely the best return he's ever made. That guy was probably praying the NBA didn't force him to divest his interest in the team.
Folks are entitled to their opinion on this and that's fine. Bottom line: you shouldn't be putting your hands on people. What a cowardly act. Putting your hands on someone that cannot rightfully defend themselves.

He couldn't rightfully defend himself? Really? Against whom? The guy is a large athlete in great shape. This isn't an 80 year old person with arthritis and a bad back!
