I coded this as well as a few other features like angel eye brightness and different ambient colors myself using the BimmerCode app and a Bluetooth/WiFi adapter that I purchased from amazon that connects to the OBD port on the car. You can do everything thru the app. It’s free to download but you have to pay extra to unlock the full coding abilities. It’s pretty straight forward and user friendly so you don’t necessarily need to be tech savvy(but it might help).

I appreciate your insight. Which adaptor did you buy on Amazon, what do we need to look for in terms of programming this platform.
