I've just purchased this too. It said valid for my car, so i took it.
My car has done 32k miles and is just over 3 years old. Reading the bumf about extending the service inclusive (mines just expired), it reads as you can do this within 15 months.
The connected portal had updated and says my service included runs until nov 2022 or 60k miles.
I expect bmw will claim its a mistake, so i printed all of the details saying that its valid for my car/my vin.
Hmm, let's see...
