It was not a good day.
A friend of mine called me earlier to inform me that her mother, a former patient, will be medically euthanized tomorrow.
She had been on the palliative floor for a few weeks and on morphine. She wanted to wait a few days in order to spend her last Mother's Day with her family. She wanted to thank me for my past care.
