Depends what type of ride you want. Specialized has the new diverge out for 2021 that has a decent spec starting at $1600. They have the diverge evo being released as a flat bar bike with the future shock 2.0. A 20mm suspension that suspends the rider via the bars, not the whole bike.
I believe that Salsa makes great adventure type bikes as well.
Really just depends on your budget
