Except that it's not true. If you look any of the detailed iX reviews that started appearing during the last 14 days, the instrument cluster is customizable including the layout and content. Trapezoid layout is just one of the few available. |
I have seen several videos and the display has no more to very little added features over the iDrive 7 cluster (which is also poor) other than specific EV details. The customization is sorely lacking in comparison to MB, Audi, and even JLR. |
That is not correct, you can drag and drop apps/features to customize what you want to have, pretty much like on your iphone.
I have the iDrive 7 within the iX3, the iDrive 8 is more versatile and you can make it more personal, to suit your own taste, but all is not good, the look ok the UI is old fashioned and it looks slower than previous version.
