This is completely inaccurate. Production is constrained across the board and continues to be down 15-20%. Still unclear when we will get to pre-pandemic levels again, but 2022 is not it.
Edit: As context, current forecast for new car sales this year is 15.3M. 2015 - 2019 were all 17M+ units.
