We have had my wife’s iX for around 6 months now, around 4K miles so far. The best thing is the ride quality on the couple of long road trips we did. Very relaxing and refined drive. The range is also excellent. I also like the interior design.
My wife says it’s the vehicle she has enjoyed owned and driving the most. It is surprisingly agile and fast, given it doesn’t look sporty.
As others have said, the storage isn’t great.
To me it seems more like a mini van experience rather than an SUV. Horses for courses as they say. The iX isn’t competing with the X5M but in terms of driving and handling it probably can hold it’s own vs the rest of the X5 line. JMHO.
