Not really. Yes, X5 has some space under the cover, but it is shallow and you can't put much there. You can place things like lithium jump starter, inflator or snow brush type small items.
But iX is very deep and likely more usable. |
I haven't seen the iX in person, but from the pic, looks like narrow and deep (iX) vs larger and more shallow? Depends upon what you want to put there I guess, but neither are game changing space and it becomes fairly useless if you regularly keep anything sizable in the main cargo space that would have to come out to get below..
