I think all these 'transition' cars are going to look very dated once the next generation of from-the-ground-up BMW EVs comes to market. By 'transition', I mean where they just take a design based on an ICE +gearbox +drivetrain and simply drop-in EV components instead: often leaving empty space and completely redundant hangovers from the ICE like a high, long bonnet.
It's a personal view, of course, but if I'm buying an EV at a price premium, then I want it to be redesigned from the ground up, like the
i vision circular.
