Wow, I have not heard of or thought about Arctic Metallic in years!
My first BMW was a pre-owned E30 325i cabriolet, but my first brand new BMW was a 2004 E46, and I had to have silver (330i coupe).
The dealer told me they got in an Arctic Metallic and it was even better than silver. They lied. NOT better
I think Blue Ridge Mountain is, to me, much better than Arctic Metallic.
Arctic Metallic was "pretty", but it just seemed like an old lady colour that belonged on a Toyota Cressida or Chrysler Cordoba
