What exactly are you expecting from a company on a shoe string budget and the badge that does not read GT and R? All of this is 100% expected, more power likely will come with the Nismo version if one is in the works. If anything I’m surprised Nissan didn’t also intro the 300hp version of the VR30 on the base model to align with the Zupra 2.0
Put it another way, it is exactly the reason this is kept from a billion horsepower and a 0-60 in 3 seconds precisely because they can’t have this car out gun the icon GTR
40k for 400hp is on par with majority of its competitors in this price range including the Challenger RT which has a V8 and less power
Only ones with more i can think of is the stang GT V8 and maybe the Camaro SS, both of which do about the same 0-60
Of course you can go and get a job at Nissan and develop this car yourself with your wish list and see how far you can go given their budget of 5 bucks
This is honestly just a project to get people to notice Nissan, it does not need to be good and they don’t need to sell a million of them.
