Once vehicles begin communicating with each other and the outside environment, collisions could easily be avoided. Heck, if the Iconic laser headlamps can detect pedestrians and animals over 100 yards away, how difficult would it be to create an algorithm that determines the crash potential based on ones driving and nearby vehicles, and simply have it adjust the vehicle to reduce potential issues?
