I get it...new team, rink and fans and it is a good idea to have a team that can build excitement and sell tickets.
Shoot, when the Sharks first started I think they won 13 games or so. Took years to be competitive and they still have not won a cup. Always pisses me off that Tampa and the Ducks brought one home so quick after inception.
Hockey is so hard to predict but what is hard to swallow is, if they do win this year or in a couple years it is all the other teams that have brought these players up through the minors. I would say it would be a cheap victory.
