Shoot, when the Sharks first started I think they won 13 games or so. Took years to be competitive and they still have not won a cup. Always pisses me off that Tampa and the Ducks brought one home so quick after inception.
Hockey is so hard to predict but what is hard to swallow is is they do win this year or in a couple as it is all the other teams that have brought these players up through the minors. I would say it would be a cheap victory.

This I agree with. But again look at their roster - no superstars. Only a couple players that had very good seasons last year. Reminds me a little (yes LITTLE) of the 1980 USA hockey team, coach didn't want the 20 best players.... he wanted to put together the best team.
