The range and 0-60 times are pathetic compared to Teslas.
I still don't understand why i8 is not equipped with long range batteries and 0-60 times < 3 seconds.
The i3 is quite a bit smaller which may suit some people and is also built by a real car company that knows how to produce quality cars. I'm considering an i3 120ah BEV to complement my M6, I would also consider a Kona and a few other options but never a Tesla.
There are a surprising amount of i3 daily drivers who have weekend M cars. The i3 compliments my M3 CS quite nicely for city driving. Lots of instant torque and the carpool sticker bonus.

The only thing to maybe get excited about is the ridiculously low lease rates.

But that side size battery might leave you by the Roadside.

And CCS Chargers are still few and far between.

BMW needs to grow the CCS networK.

As a secondary car, it can't be beat. Super low lease payments and a range of 150 miles is perfect for a commute both in Europe and the US.
