I downloaded iOS 14 public beta while out of town on vacation. It was actually an awesome OS the few days I had it.

Then I went into my car. No CarPlay. Weird.

Tried disconnecting. Reconnecting. Deleted phone from car. Deleted car from phone.

Turns out iOS 14 beta will NOT connect with wireless CarPlay on iDrive 5.0 at this time. I’m in the process of reverting to iOS 13 at this time because losing this feature of my car is a dealbreaker.
