While some of the parts are preassembled, the actual production time for the BMW i8 is 20 hours total. (See attached PDF, last page).

I thought it sounded really early. Part of me got excited because he was week 32 and I assumed they had moved the build up and therefore mine might move up, but no movement on my front, still holding at week 33 (Aug 10th-17th).
