Wow I'm surprised a 2016 would have a DRL issue so soon!
Then again I saw a new X7 with a DRL out.
Their is a small aluminum module back their behind the light with the DRL LED's if the led is dead you can replace the module, their cheap off eBay and you can just buy it and replace it.
