True, but also worth comparing Model Y to the i4 on the numbers, both being hatchbacks / fastback.
Some other numbers relating to the OP question:
i4 M50 unladen weight EU = 2290kg (already mentioned)
M440i Gran Coupe unladen weight EU = 1900kg (same chassis as i4)
i4 battery pack estimates vary - motor press say 500kg - 545kg
Model Y unladen weight EU = 2003kg
