F1 2021: Qatar GP - Losail (Nov 21)

5.418 kilometers

Number of laps: 57

Race distance: 306.8 kilometers

Number of curves: 16 (10 right/6 left)

Distance from pole position to first braking zone: 371 meters

Pit lane length: 420 meters; estimated 18s.

Narrow track with its 16 curves (10 right, 6 left) 5.418 kilometers. 57 laps planned over smooth circuit. Basically, one decent overtaking point at the end of the straight, which is more than a kilometer long. The only DRS zone was set up here. The way from pole position to the first corner is relatively long at 370 meters.

Top speed (simulation): 321 km/h

DRS zones: 1 (T16-T1)

Tire choice: C1, C2 & C3 hardest compounds

Lap record: 1:35:74 (Nico Hülkenberg, GP2 Asia, 2009)

Track surface is old surface which should provide give a lot of grip. However, it is unclear how much sand is in the asphalt pores and how much the grip improves over the course of the weekend.
