Agreed, many are owned by older guys. My main point to the OP was to avoid the ones owned by younger guys who are doing all the performance work on their cars and really stressing the drive line and chassis at the drag strip, street racing and whatever else they’re doing. I know they’re tough cars but hole shots with sticky tires, burnouts and excessive redlines and over revs do take its toll over time as you know.
I’m on several Corvette forums and there a bunch of guys who beat the shit out of their Corvettes(Z06 included) and many who don’t and do exactly like you described. I’d be looking for that guys car if I was the OP.
