I was just about to say; everyone forgets that skinny tires make for incredible grip in the damp conditions (I know it was not raining in the vid, but the road did look - uh --- moist).

Just go do a skidpan gymkhana; Ive even seen city cars trashing serious machinery simply because the tires virtually ignored the water. Now the i3 has fairly low profile (so less wheel hop than traditional high profile tires) + skinny rubber and full power available off the line.
