Even at UK gas prices, not really worth the effort! If the battery could sustain high discharge for longer (i.e. better overall performance) then maybe worth a look.

Does anyone know if the cell packs are interchangeable with all of the BMW hybrids such as the 330e? If they are, I would expect after-market items to eventually be available at a reduced price.
