Even on 200+ mile runs on German highways, I have never even come close to running out of juice.

But the cool thing about the i8 is, you don't need it to run on both engines all the time. Only when you're accelerating or maintain extremely high speeds. If you're at constant, moderate speeds, like most people will be 99% of the time, all that power consumption is dialed right down to frugal levels. Until you need it again, and then ... Bam!
