They did though not to the extent of Silverstone 2 where the curves were taken for longer causing the bubbling not only for Merc.It lasted for a shorter time in Spain causing less of a problem for Mercs and allowing utilization of more engine power where doing the same at Silverstone 2 caused tyre degredation quicker.
