I had an 07 V8V. Moved into i8 in 2014 and still have it. No issues other than fuel pressure sensor. It's been the most reliable sports car I've ever had lol.

Sell the aston now, buy 1 back in 3 years time at a quarter of the price...

The one and only problem of the i8 is that bmw lied about its production intentions. They led first buyers to think that it would be really a limited edition like a modern day M1. We all know what happened.
