For the "ask not what your country..." - Trump along with most smart business people have long stated that they take full advantage of all tax loopholes and tax advantages available to them, if the benefit is available they take it. Assuming these same people would take advantage of any other benefits available to them? Trying to understand when "doing what is right" vs "doing what current laws allow" kicks in.
