We always try to plan a winter showshoe trip and a summer backpacking trip. Last Jan we spent a week in Stanley Idaho to snowshoe in the Sawtooth mtns. Lots of trails and hot springs to relax in also. This year I don't think we will take a snowshoe specific trip but we do plan to take a couple week road trip out west to scout some areas to potentially move to, and then hit some trails and snowshoe different areas.

Devil's Thumb Ranch in Colorado for amazing snowshoe experiences.
