Tried that thing today - it switched to a special guest profile, the whole idrive was blocked - no radio, no settings, nothing. Just a big window stating the car in the parking mode. The only driving limitation I found was that I couldn’t disable dsc. All the driving options (sport, electric, hybrid) were available. I also didn’t notice any power and speed restrictions. |
That's what I was afraid of.
I noted that DSC could not be disabled from the manual.
It would be nice if it limited speed to say 40mph or something programmed.
