Since my previous recommendation of the Mazda 3 is off the table, what about a new Hyundai Elantra GT? We drove one before picking the Mazda 3 Hatch. Sporty, dual clutch, can be had with ACC, pretty nice inside, and a good amount of room. I enjoyed it, it would make a great DD.
