I drove 19 hours straight last Thursday from Miami back to my home in St. Louis. My office in Miami shut down and we all went remote, so I'd rather be back out in the burbs of St. Louis where I think it's much safer than Miami.

I left at 3:45PM Eastern, and rolled into my garage in STL at around 10:45AM Eastern time. Basically 19 hours on the dot.

Was an easy drive in the M4, but as others have said, almost zero traffic. Of course, I went through all the major cities at night (Atlanta/Chattanooga/Nashville) and just happened to pass downtown St. Louis right after morning rush hour. It was an absolute breeze, only times I needed to hit the brakes were for gas and restroom breaks. Much of that journey forces trucks to stay out of the left lane, which is a massive help.

When/if I go back to Miami, I'll do it in two days most likely.
