I ordered an M50 loaded.
I would have gone with the i4 X40 with a similar build but after looking at the out the door price the M50 was less than $2,000 more than the X4. The dealer stated that allocations for the i4 X40 are much harder to come by so no discount from MSRP at all.
I figured the M50 would long term be worth the <2,000.
