Highlights for me:
- Your choice was an E30 (including new Touring), E34, E32 and you could still get an E24 in M635Csi form!
- Manual gearboxes available on all of them except the 750i... so you could have a manual E32 735i
- An LSD was available across the whole range
- The rechargeable glovebox torch was standard equipment (as a kid that was a BIG deal)
- The 3rd party Baur convertible conversion was on the official pricelist for the 2 door E30s.
- A car phone (the future!) was available at extra cost across the whole range.
- My middle of the range G31 530d is quicker to 60 than any car offered at the time, but I still see these as very fast cars (and bet they have a hell of lot more engagement!)
