I’m going to order my ix in the next week or so and I’m stuck on the color. I’m torn between alpine white and storm bay metallic. I would probably get the bronze exterior trim regardless of the color and I’m planning on getting the mocha interior regardless.

Which do you think is a nicer combination? Thanks!

Storm Bay all the way. Such a nice color.

IMO the bronze exterior only looks good on black.

And Red! I love the "Iron Man" look of the bronze on red.

If I had it to do over, I would order the bronze on my blue iX. I like how the bronze trim highlights the lines of the car. In that regard, it works on every color, though some colors better than others. For example, it kinda fades out on Oxide Grey Metallic.

I think it looks weird, especially if the wheels have any silver. Car color + black + silver + bronze is too many (4) variables.

Maybe with black wheels + bronze + car color, but that’s still 3 different colors on a non black car.

Regardless, to each their own. This is all personal preference.

Had Storm Bay Metallic on my iX and it is hands down one of the BEST BMW colours ever!! Depending on lighting you get gray, baby blue, specks of lavender and pink...and Storm Bay will stay "clean" looking longer than any colour on the market.

Mineral White is an awesome colour. To me Alpine White always looks dirty and for some reason dust and dirt really sticks and clings to Alpine, whereas this is not the case with Mineral.

The advantage Alpine White has over any metallic paint is the ability to color match in the event a repair becomes necessary. It takes a very good painter to properly match and then apply multicoat metallic paints and poor matches are very easy to see. That said, Storm Bay is a far prettier choice IMHO.

One of the first iXs I looked at online was the Aventurin Red with the bronze trim, I liked the look of it until my wife reminded me I hate the Seminoles

Alpine White and Storm Bay are my two favorite colors!! I previously had a Sapphire Black iX, and it got so dirty, I had to wash it once a week. My newest iX is Alpine White, which I specifically chose because it still looks good and shiny when only washing one a month. I think Storm May Metallic is a better looking color, but I hate how dull it looks after a week of gathering dust driving on the LA freeways. Too much work to keep clean!

Storm Bay given the choice of the two, but beauty as they say is in the eye. Almost any white on almost any car to me looks like a government vehicle or delivery van.

Hahaha..This guy on the FB iX group posted his black pillar wrap and tinted grill! The contrast looks so cool against a white car! Don't you think?

Yep, the Panda look is definitely the best look for white, but then it isn't actually white any more.

+1 for Storm Bay Metallic. That and the HK system is what finalized the purchase for me. Right at dusk, it is quite appealing.
