Has anyone else noticed an over-read on the car odometer verses what they think they've been driving and what the app even says?

After 2 months of driving my iX3 I noticed the car total mileage displayed on the car as 1421 miles which I thought was high. The app said I had driven 657 the first month and 265 so far the second month which I felt was accurate. It had 9 miles on the clock so I make this 931 miles and not 1421.

I messaged BMW and they said just reset my app.

Now over 12 months later, my app totals up as 10891 verses 12270 on the odometer.

It's minor but it is bugging me. Especially when I come to argue any over mileage payments at the end of the contract.

Not sure about the iX3. This is an iX forum. However on the iX the distance driven in the summaries are for your own driver profile. Not sure if that’s what you’re referring to.

In the iX app, go to the main screen, scroll down to "vehicle information", touch that and you will see your VIN, total miles driven, etc. I can't speak to the iX3 as this is an iX forum.

Do you have a second driver?
In the app it only shows me the trips I did (when my bmw id profile was active), not both mine and my wifes
