Year end Discounts

I may have to get a delivery of an iX before the year end, what kind of discounts can I expect from in stock new cars in Massachusetts?

IIRC, I think aggressive discounts are in the 11% to 12% off MSRP in addition to the $7,500 lease discount incentive.

So far I got $7500 financing $1000 conquest and $2000 dealer so what you are saying is we can get them at dealer discount to 8-9000$ based on MSRP?

11-13% off Msrp from the dealer min. But - Its last month of the year, I’d gun for 13-15% off.

Then subtract BMW incentives ($7500, $1000, etc).

Are you leasing or buying?

Yes, a dealer should discount at least 11% off MSRP, in addition to the freebies, if they are serious about moving metal. So, if they are only offering $2K, they are holding back another >$8K in margin.

Buying. Which dealer in Boston would you recommend.

Looping back, if you are purchasing the car and financing through BMWFS, I’m not sure what a “$7500 financing” discount would be. The only financing discount I know about is the $7500 lease incentive. Therefore, that may be part of the total discount off MSRP and you are at the max for a purchased deal.

Leasing is going to likely get you a better deal on these.

You should be getting 11-13% off MSRP right off the bat. THEN you add on any rebates, etc. Leasing, for example, gets you another $9900 rebate on top of the 11-13% MSRP discount.

I think they reduced the lease incentive to $7,500.

Edit: Confirmed incentive is still $9,900.

Last weekend I got 14%+ off msrp and $9900 lease credit here in the Bay Area.
Dealer marked up money factor to 0.00066, all dealers are firm on the markup locally.

I’ve worked with someone at HC in Boston. He’s a good guy.

Not on my iX though. But a prior purchase.

Aaaah, you went to the source of reference. I read on one of the lease threads it was reduced, but I did not verify.

I highly recommend you reach out to https://www.bostoncarconcierge.com/

BEFORE you go to HC. Mike is awesome and can help get you the best deal for a very reasonably fee that more than pays for itself. He got me another $3-4k off my IX for a total of more than $15k reduction inn MSRP plus the $9900. If you go in by yourself he can't really swoop in after you start the negotiation, and HC is his preferred dealer network.
