Door lock plunger rattling

I'm posting this in the general BMW area because I don't believe this applies to just my car. The door lock plungers are the same on these cars. The driver's side plunger has gotten lose some how so it rattles around at speed.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you fix it? I'm wondering if just a little felt tape around the plunger wouldn't do the trick? It's super annoying, it sounds like a little buzzing noise at times.

I replaced my door plungers with some cheap AliExpress ones but have you tried pulling yours off and re installing them or just pushing down on the door plunger while you have the door handle held open with one hand to offer resistance so you can push on the plunger.

Do they just pull off? And no I haven't tried anything because it feels kinda fragile, I don't want to break it.

They just pull off and push on. First try pushing it back on but you need to pull the door handle and push down while the door handle is in the open position. If you need to remove the plunger you will need a strip of rubber or similar to wrap around the plunger because its slippery. There are youtube videos that show how to do it.
