Best hotel near Staples Center

LA guys -- I'm going to the Lakers game on Thursday. Anyone have any hotel recommendations near Staples Center? Thanks.

Stay at the Standard.....

Less than a mile from the SC and if you are a guest you'll get access to the roof top bar. It kicks ass.

That looks pretty legit. I was looking into that hotel actually. Read some mixed reviews but may give it a shot.

Westin Bonaventure in los angeles is pretty nice.

Ritz Carlton/ JW Marriot just finished construction and I think they had a Grand Opening a week or two ago.

I was just there and the new Ritz looks great. Might stay there next trip as I do my business downtown.

The JW/Ritz at LA Live is very nice, although iirc they are pretty well booked since their opening. I'd definitely try to stay around the vicinity of LA Live though. Plenty of entertainment and restaurants to go check out and its less then a 5min walk from the staples center.

Yep -- playing Boston. Hate the Celtics but should be a great game. Just hope Boston isn't shooting well.

Thanks for the recommendations. So many options to choose from now. I'll definitely try to stay around the LAlive area.

Omni Los Angeles Hotel or the Biltmore.
have fun.
and if u don't want to stay in Downtown stay around Pasadena/ Arcadia area - 10-15min out.

edit:
ohoh and the "hotel, motel, Holiday Inn" u can walk to Staples.

as added JW Marriott just open across the street from Staples - Very nice, saw it today.

+1 A little pricey but very nice hotel. Reminds me of the W Hotels.
