Unlocking/Locking Sounds

I just picked up on friday an i4 e35 as replacement for my 2009 328i. I noticed that when I lock and unlock my car on a rare occasion it will make a sound. I've turned the sounds on/off from the idrive 8 but doesn't seem to fix it any thoughts on how to remedy the issue? Or should I just take it too service?

A sound like a programmed "iconic sound"?

No not like the iconic sounds just the general unlock and locking of the car.

You're talking about the chirp sound? If you turn it off, it should stay off. I don't know of any reason it wouldn't.

There you go , the chrip sound. Mine is on but it doesn't play any sound.
