Efficiency Metrics

I’m new to BMW BEV. The metrics say 60 miles traveled, 12 kWh used, and 2.2mi/kWh. Why isn’t it 5 mi/kWh (which would be extremely optimistic) ? Is the utilization based on driving only, and the rest of the usage is from A/C, lights, etc? Or does this 12kWh mean something else?

The 12kWh is how much you added back into the battery through regenerative braking over the 60 miles driven since your last charge.

Yes, unfortunately usage data in the iDrive doesn’t include kWh used. Look for it under trip data in the app.
