My new I4 edrive 40

This is my first new BMW that I didn't spec out myself, but wait times are 15 months where I am so I jumped on this when it appeared in inventory. So far I'm pretty impressed. I drove it around Munich this weekend and charge didn't drop below 80. I'm taking it home tomorrow, on a 500 km drive. I'm anxious to see what kind of range I get while averaging 150kph.

So what kind of range did you get at 150kph?

I've not had mine on any sort of significant drive yet, and my efficiency isn't great at this point...but I like pushing the go pedal...so that might have something to do with it

Our son has had his e40 for almost a month, and so far my M50 had higher range; consistently higher...but still so great not standing there at the dirty gas pump

Real life it makes sense having extra range of the two motor version. Ultimately it depends how the car is driven but isn't the regeneration power higher on the two motor version too?

All things stay the same in ECO pro in terms of driving eDrive40 vs M50 unless you floor it, but regeneration should be higher on the M50.

Looks fantastic. It's cool you can get CF trim option on the e40 in Europe. M50 only in US
