New 2024 and when I select the "auto adjust time" option, it changes the time zone to Berlin (I'm in San Jose, California). Spoke to a BMW Genius on the phone and he had me do the volume button reboot but that didn't help. Anyone else run into this and if so, were you able to resolve without haven't to make a service appt?

I just started this thread last week. Looks like a chronic defect.

So weird. Four iX and the auto time zone setting has worked flawlessly from day 1 and never once a hiccup, even when time changed for most of the USA.

I wonder how widespread of an issue this is? We have just been super lucky?

This makes me think there is some special sequence that gets it to work. It is not an every car thing, but for those whom it is broken, it is broken.
