Bluetooth Devices Keep Disappearing

As the title suggests my Bluetooth devices keep disappearing. No pattern that I have noticed as to when or why they disappear but they do it randomly and it is getting rather frustrating.

I am on idrive 8 software 11/2024.30. If anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening please let me know cuz I’m going crazy.

Do you have a USB stick plugged in for any music? If so, unplug it and try for a few days without it.

No I don’t have any usb stick plugged in for music. However, I do have 2 usb c cables I use for charging my iPhones. I also ocassionally charge my laptop with these cables.

OK. Avoid plugging into the front USB ports for a while and see how you go. (Or use data-only cables) Edit: meant “charge only cables”

BTW, the ports in the seat backs are more powerful than the front ones.

So far so good. But the thing is usually when I charge my laptop I use the back ports anyways. I have just been avoiding doing this and seems to be working so far.

Hmm. That's a false positive as the back ports are power only (I thought)

I don’t know. Maybe it’s just some bug in the software. I’ll keep an eye on it and keep you posted if it happens again
